Internship experiences are an important part of the BCB Graduate Program as it gives current students opportunities to gain important hands-on experience in real world venues.

BCB students have been successful at obtaining internships with various pharmaceutical and industrial companies for the upcoming summer and in the recent past including:
- Merck - Misha Rajaram and Li Xue
- Novartis - Xiaoyong Sun
- Syngenta - Yves Sucaet and Matt Moscou
- Siemens - Fadi Towfic
Remember, international students must be enrolled at ISU when taking part in an internship opportunity off campus to remain in good standing with visa regulations. Enroll in a cooperative course such as Stat 598 or EcpE 598 to minimize tuition costs and fees. Currently, BCB does not have a coop offering, but discussions are underway to put one in place.
