BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT (5-24-04 kmw)
We extend our congratulations to Tony Hill (BCB minor/IGERT) and wife Kirsten on the birth of their daughter Madeline Brie Hill, born at 4:43 Friday morning, May 21. Madeline is 6 pounds 11 ounces and 20.5 inches long--and very lucky to have such a great mom and dad! Our best wishes to Kirsten, Madeline and Tony, who tells us Madeline is beautiful!

FIRST THURSDAY PICNIC (5-21-04)
The third annual First Thursday Picnic will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 3, in the Maple Shelter at Brookside Park. The main meal and beverages will be provided. Please bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share with everyone. Also be sure to bring your frisbees, softball or badminton equipment, volleyballs, etc. Brookside Park is located on Sixth Street, just east of Elwood Drive; Maple Shelter is the first big shelter house you'll see from the street. To help us plan, please let us know by noon Tuesday, June 1, whether you will be able to attend. We hope to see you there!
