I'm interested in looking at the differential splicing landscape in Arabidopsis thaliana during abiotic stress conditions. By studying the genes in the perspective of their pathways, we can identify biological processes which are significantly affected by alternative splicing. After identifying such pathways, I would want to develop metabolic models to better understand how alternate isoforms modulate biological processes. To accomplish this, I'm currently developing a method to integrate alternative isoforms within the metabolic pathways.
