Dissertation title: Antioxidants and dehydrin metabolism associated with osmopriming-enhanced stress tolerance of germinating spinach (Spinacia oleracea L. cv. Bloomsdale) seeds.

Experimental Skills:

Administering and evaluation of plant stress tolerance of herbaceous and woody plants tissues (low temp., drought, etc.)

Plant growing and maintenance (under controlled envionment - growth chamber, and greenhouse conditions)

Gene-expression: DNA/RNA isolation; RT-PCR; Real-time qPCR

Protein extraction, SDS-PAGE, and Immunoblotting (from herbaceous and woody plant tissues)
