Abstract
This talk will introduce evolutionary computation and cellular encoding (nothing to do will cells in a living creature) in the context of evolving shapes that compete for space in small world. There are several possible rotation projects using this system and Dr. Ashlock will show how to manipulate the system to study different questions.
