Abstract
The purpose of the pseudophyte model of evolution is to explore the dynamics of speciation. Presently, the model is focusing on the minimum number of traits necessary for speciation to occur based on adaptive radiation. The basis of the model focuses on energy flow through the pseudophyte and the development of mate selection criteria. After the base program was operational, unexpected behaviors appeared. Currently, I am attempting to understand the behavior of the basic algorithm and find effective methods of analyzing the results.
