May 1, 2020 - 8:00 AM
to May 1, 2020 - 5:00 PM

The BCB-GSO is excited to announce the 6th Annual BCB Symposium titled "Single-cell -omics: Advances and Future Directions" will be held on May 1st, 2020 at Reiman Gardens in the Garden Room. We have four excellent speakers planned for this year's event:

  • Dr. Emily R. Miraldi (Cincinnati Children's Hospital)
  • Dr. Jimmie Ye (University of California San Francisco)
  • Dr. Elizabeth Purdom (University of California Berkeley)
  • Dr. Haibo Liu (Iowa State University/University of Massachusetts).

In addition to our invited speakers, we will be seeking student speakers and posters to present at the symposium. Student talks should be around 10 minutes with about 5 minutes allowed for questions (15 minutes total). Student speakers and posters are not limited to single-cell -omics topics. Feel free to make submissions covering any project you might be working on!

Registration for the symposium and abstract submissions for student presentations will be open soon! If you have any questions, please reach out to anyone on the BCB-GSO. We are looking forward to an intriguing symposium and will share more details soon.
